INTERMEDIATE AND SENIOR PLANNER POSITIONS

Momentum Planning and Design is a boutique planning consultancy firm based in Tauranga.  We have a range of clients through the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Auckland.  We have two positions available and are looking for a qualified intermediate planner with two to five years’ experience and a qualified senior planner who preferably has a minimum of five years’ experience.  Ideally the applicants can demonstrate the ability to deal with multidisciplinary teams, be innovative and solution focused while remaining responsive to our client’s requests. Having a passion for good urban design outcomes and/or having design capability is an advantage.

Momentum has very good relationships with several partner firms who often work on projects together.  We also have a collaborative working style with Council staff. Much of the focus of our work is preparing resource consent applications, subdivision and land use, to both District and Regional Council’s.  We have also been involved in several Special Housing Area applications within the Bay of Plenty, due diligence assessments, and reviews of District Plan Changes on behalf of clients.  Our work is varied and interesting and we have a range of exciting projects to entice every level of planner.
